The program below is organized by our travel agency and you have a professional licensed guide / archaeologist during the whole program – in all archaeological sites and visits.

7 days – 2 nights in Chania – 1 night South Crete ( Matala) – 2 nights in Heraklion – 2 nights in Sitia.

Private service including accommodation and cultural program / tours per day .

1st Day

Arrival at Chania – airport transfer to the hotel – evening free – overnight stay at Chania ( ideally close to the old town)

2nd Day

In and around Chania – enjoy the highlights – Aptera – Tsangarolon monastery and a walking tour of the old town – overnight stay t Chania

3rd Day

Leaving Chania with luggage heading towards Rethymnon – stop for a walking tour and coffee – continue towards south via Spili village to reach Phaistos and Matala – Overnight stay in south Crete ( in and around Matala )

4th day

Leaving the south – visiting Gortyn – and continue towards Knossos Palace. Overnight stay in Heraklion

5th Day

Museum of Heraklion and walking food tour in the city – free time for shopping and overnight stay in Heraklion

6th Day

Drive to the east – Visit Malia palace- lunch on the way to the east and reach Sitia . Free afternoon and overnight stay at Sitia

7th Day

Zakros palace and Toplou monastery , return and overnight stay at Sitia
8th Day Free day – departure transfer to Heraklion airport to fly to Santorini or Athens
