Guides of Greece Sustainable Tourism Development – Tailor Made Travel Services E.E   is a company organized by active professional guides with a passion for the Minoan civilization and our birthplace, the island Crete.  We have active three  websites:  www.visitknossos.com focuses on the visit of the highlights of Heraklion and the Minoan civilization and www.tour-experts.gr a site that provides travel planning for your vacations on Crete, in a flexible way, for a more fulfilling experience that can combine accommodation, transportation with a company car or luxurious mini vans, guiding services or the organization of events, such as wedding ceremonies and parties during your vacation, and  www.touristguidescrete.com for a luxurious approach and private tours .

With  experience since 1997  in the field of tourism as qualified licensed guides in tours and excursions, cooperating with almost all tour operators, we have the valuable knowledge to treat our guests with the respect they deserve. In our company, our main concern is traveler’s satisfaction. As travel planners and event makers we have engaged successfully in the past in organizing private tours, incentives and tailor made tours according to every guest’s needs and wishes. We have gained the trust of our guests that have become friends over the years.

Our company was responsible for the operation and the shore excursions and management of Costa Cruises, Aida and Carnival Vista during the summer season of 2016. We have provided our services, shore excursions and  tailor made private tours in a number of cruise ships  in the past years, ( MSC Fantasia, Magnifica, Aida, Costa Neoriviera, Luminosa, Carnival Vista, Disney Cruises,  Royal Princess, Crown Princess, Oceania , Holland America Line, Norwegian, Jewel of the Seas,  Azamara, Celebrity Constellation ).

This company (Guides of Greece Sustainable Tourism Development – Tailor Made Travel Services E.E  ) , organized by us, Panos and Ioanna , with passion about guiding , the island of Crete and the glorious Minoan civilization, have decided not to sell our services through platforms like Viator, getyourguide, Klook, Bokun, Booking, etc. The reason is that although we would have received more bookings , we prefer to work directly with travelers, providing the best possible prices for our services to the guests… As you probably know the platforms like Viator, getyourguide etc charge a commission of 20 to 30 % of the price of the tour. We prefer to provide a better price to the final consumer- that is you the traveler and to create a connection, rather than  work through platforms.

We will try as long as this is possible, to keep working this way. You can read reviews about our services through TripAdvisor, but you cannot book our services through their platform. You have to contact us directly. We  strongly believe that the real travellers – you – that wish to explore the real Crete, to get in touch with the authentic Cretans, you will search for our website directly.
