Let’s make the most out of the tour with the 3D app and “Knossos for the kids” approach.

Please let us know the ages of the children and the number of IPad tablets that you wish to use during the tour (usually one tablet per child).

The iPad with the application has an additional cost (per item): 18 euro per iPad and can be paid on the spot.

There are two options for the kids orientated tour , with  the use of Ipads or not. Even without the technology we can approach  our young friends.

If you wish to have the iPads during the booking process , add in the notes area how many iPads will you need and you can settle this on the spot .

Please note, that you will have to mention the number of IPads  that you will need for your group (you can choose to have IPads for the children only or for all participants). Specify the number of the IPads when you book your tour (at  “notes”). Otherwise we will assume that you wish to have a kids friendly tour without the use of technology.

Cost:  The cost of the tour is 180 euro and refers to the cost of the guide for a private tour, for a group up to 5 participants .( with all taxes and  24% VAT included). Extra participants can be added with an extra cost of 40 euro per person during the booking process ( in the next step).

The cost of the entrance tickets is not included. For the young participants, in order to help you arrange the right ticket, we will need a copy of passport or ID. Non EU citizens up to 25 years old pay 8 euro per person and EU citizens up to 25 years old have free admission. In order to prearrange the ticket add at the note area during the booking process  the ages of the participants. You can send us an email with the ID or passport closer to the date of issue.

Duration : Estimate  the duration of the tour , to  appoximately 1h 30 min . ( depending on  the time of the visit, if there are many groups at the site /delay or lines ).  We will try to avoid the crowds , if possible, in order to provide a joyful experience for our young friends.

We also strongly recommend to choose an evening tour – to enjoy the experience. Usually in the morning there are cruise ships – so try to avoid that!!!

Who organizes the tour : The team of Guides of Greece Sustainable Tourism Development – Tailor Made Travel Services E.E – all our guided are registered and certified – and we work with a small team of guides in order to provide the best possible experience .

Group capacity: Maximum participants up to 16 ( for large groups over 9 pax , audio will be used .)  For a larger group, please contact us at visitknossos@gmail.com.

Terms:

• The minimum age for the use of the iPads during a tour to Knossos is 6 years old
• The parents are responsible for the iPad during the tour in case of any damage of the equipment. If the item ( Ipad ) is broken during the tour, there is a surcharge  to replace the equipment
